Check out the funky bracket I made! I love doing crafty stuff like this. We have some awesome beads to choose from but I decided to go for something simple but with style.

Tauranga arts festival

For the Tauranga arts festival we went to see the arboria luminariam down on the strand. It was a big huge blow up that you walk into and around and it had different colours and designs. It looked so cool! I had a great time and I achieved one of my IPP goals! I would love to go back if it comes back to Tauranga one day!

Kite day

We went on a day trip out to Katikati to the kite day. There were lots of cool kites in the sky. We also played some sport and I relaxed in the sun on a camp chair. I had a really great day.

Cooking

I helped make mini mince pies for cooking. They were yum and fun to make.

Art

I am doing really well with my art. I drew a gorgeous bird - a parrot to be precise, with pretty colours on it. I'm pretty proud of my drawing!

Historic village

We went to the Historic village. It was such a nice day to walk around and see the sights. I had a great time.

Trip to the movies

I went to the movies with a bunch of friends. We saw the movie Inside Out, I really liked it a lot. We got really good seats and had heaps of fun

Girls group pj party

We had a pj party for girls group. We bought our pjs in and watched some funny movies about animals. I've had a really good week as it was my birthday on Tuesday and I got a yummy cake and everyone sang happy birthday to me!

The new me!

I came to work today looking like a new lady. Last night I went to the hair dressers and got my hair cut and coloured. Everyone has commented on it and how good it looks!

Nails!

I love getting my nails painted, we have lots of different colours to choose from. Here I am with my friend Gayleen waiting nicely to have our nails done.

Mossops honey shop

The bees were very interesting I found it very fascinating.

Visiting Hobbiton

I went on a day trip to Matamata to visit Hobbiton. It was really fun and interesting to see where the hobbits lived. I had a great time.

Pamper and hair ups

Sophie did my hair up all pretty today. I have hairspray in it and it smells so nice. I love getting my hair done and feeling pampered.

Disco time!

Yesterday I danced the day away at our Michael Jackson black and white disco. It was so much fun and everyone looked so good in their outfits! 

Face masks

Today in hair and make up we made face masks out of avocado and oats and put it all over our faces. We let it sit on our skin for a bit and it was really relaxing. My skin feels so nice and soft now!

Wilrose ninjas

We played Cricket against Greerton centre. Our team was the Wilrose ninjas and we wore awesome headbands to show our support. It was really fun

Mad hatters tea party

For girls group we organised a mad hatters tea party. We spent lots of time making some mad hats and decorations. We had yummy food and lots of fun!

Relaxing

I enjoyed some time relaxing on the couch before going on my outing.

Stars

We are making some stars in Maori culture.

Sanfords visit

I enjoyed my outing to Sanfords, we saw their pet octopus call Bob. 

Cooking

I enjoyed making corn fritters in cooking this week.

Drama

Iat drama today I played a customer. We are putting on a play about a shop keeper. 

Gardening.

Just put me in the garden on a sunny day and I'm as happy as.

We are making some props for our Maori culture performance. Don't you love our sun.
