Ngarie and Leister came to work today for an afternoon of music before Christmas! 

Secret Santa

We opened our secret Santa presents today. I got a really cool set of pens and gave the boss a big hug 

Virtual reality!

I went into a volcano virtual reality today! There is lava and a bear! 

Sensory

I had a relaxing sensory session a winter blizzard, I nearly fell asleep.

Christmas Parrrrty

I really enjoyed dancing and singing to party music. We had a yummy dinner, saw puppeteers and a performance by a cook island music. everyone said I looked really pretty especially with my light up necklace.

Christmas crafts

I’m working on finishing my snowman this week. He’s getting stuffed! Next I will have to add a scarf and buttons. Yippee!

Knitting and pom-poms

I used the knitting machine and made this. I also started a Pom Pom.

St Chad's of Rotorua

We visited St Chad's of Rotorua, where we learnt about their photography exhibition, and went out to visit one of their favourite photography locations. 

Shannon, Delainey and Kathryn from St Chad's were awesome hosts and showed us new photography taking techniques. Such as a good way to capture a good photograph of a seagull is using hot chips!

Christmas Shed

Today I went to visit the Christmas Shed in Te Puke. I liked the Father Christmas and had my photo taken with a funny hat. And some Santa glasses. It was a really cool place to visit. I would love to visit the store another time. The grotto was cool and they change the theme every year.

We are making little birds to hang on my Xmas tree at home.

today we went to katikati museum where we dressed up made butter and made scones as they would have back in the olden days

Sensory!

Yesterday we was relaxing to stormy sea with thunder and lightning. The waves were crashing onto me!

Power to the purple team

i really enjoyed the games today. My team won the balloon volleyball game. The colour of my team was purple. I really had a lot of fun. Check out this funny hat I borrowed today.

Marshalls Animal Farm

I went on a lovely outing to visit Marshalls animal farm! I saw lots of lovely animals and birds. I loved hand feeding the ducks, patting the donkey and having a cuddle with a cute Ginger Guinea Pig that snuggled into my neck.

Trip to Roger's family farm!

I really enjoyed the trip to Matamata to my friend Roger's family farm.
I am a natural with cats, the family cat loved me stroking and picking it up. I enjoyed stroking the calves whilst they were feeding from the cart. They were so cute! I enjoyed the 'rollercoaster ride' through the fields to see the pigs.

I enjoyed going to ten pin today I won 100 points and  roger got 99 points

Girls group

Today in girls group we went to Tauranga crossing to choose some nail polishes and hairspray. We chose 3 new colours. I chose to have my nails painted purple this week.

Noodle day

We had noodle day last Friday, lots of noodles and veges. I am enjoying my noodles with my friends.

 I am waiting patiently for my noodles.

Show time

I went to Bethlehem baptist church to see a production by the kids from Bethlehem primary school called kiwis go marching on. It was awesome. 

Drama

I am so excited to be in the drama production today. I play the part of the prime minister. This is my JA face. I look pretty scary and stern. Such fun!

Tennessee Waltz

I went to the Tennessee Waltz concert at Trinity church. I was so much fun and I sung along to some of the songs.

Making a mouse

I joined the sewing group and had a lovely time making felt mice with the ladies. I hand stitched the felt, stuffed its belly and chose pink thread to create a tail and whiskers. my mouse turned out very cute!
