Spoilt Rotten

 Today I was spoilt - I had my hair and nails done and I chose perfume and lip gloss.

Sizzling time

 Fun day at work with only the girls in the house. I helped to make cupcakes and icing, and helping to brown the sausages for lunch.

Disco Time!

 We all had fun at the disco that Mark arranged for us!

Pavlova

 Today in cooking session I got to make a pavlova and some lemon curd to put on the top. I can’t wait to get it home to eat it. The lemon curd tastes amazing!

Pedicure at the lakes

Today i went to the lakes for a pedicure and sushi for lunch. I really enjoyed the sushi. I chosea beautiful purple colour for my toe nails. I had an awesome day.

Trendy!

 I had my nails 💅  painted today. Each hand is a different colour- I am so trendy!

Wearable arts

 I have been helping to paper Mâché the butterfly to our group’s eatery for the sustainable wearable arts competition. I made the body from old plastic spoons and bubble wrap

 Today the belly dancers came to show us their moves....

Jewelry box

 I am busy making a jewelry box 📦 today in girl's group. I am going to decorate it with sea 🐚 shells.

Nails 💅

 I was pampered again today in girl's group.  Just look at my beautiful nails!

Floral Artwork

 Today am helping to finish our beautiful floral artwork. We are going to hang it up on the wall at Arohanui.

Latin Dance!

  Today we were very lucky to have some Latin dance experts come to show us a variation of different dances. It was so fun!

Talent Quest

 Talent quest 2020 finals was held at Arohanui Greerton today! We had a blast!

 Today I went to the hair salon to get my hair cut. I love my new do! I also had my nails done and I  made a flower clip for my hair.

Bring on Christmas

 in my sewing session I finished adding the ruffle to my apron. And now my apron is finished. I am really happy with how it turned out.

Yacon rhymes withbacon

 today in cooking I went to the garden to harvest the yacon. I tried it raw and tried to cook it like potato chips. I really didn't like the taste of it at all. 

Sweet smell

 I made beautiful sweet smelling posies today in floristry.

Cafe trip

 I had the coolest Time on the girls cafe trip today!

I enjoyed my morning with my friends. I loved my coffee and biscuits. the cafe was called columbus. i would love to go again!

Pamper

 I had my nails done 💅🏼 in girls group this morning. I feel so pretty!

Highland fling

 I had a great time watching the young dancers doing the Irish jigs and reels . I even got up to dance the fairy ring with them. I got a little dizzy during the dance when I had to turn around in a circle. Such fun, such fun. 

Art and Craft

 yesterday i made a painting with Dee. I enjoyed doing it. We put the paint on the canvas then used the cellophane to move it around.

Pass the parcel

 Today was Alissas birthday so at lunchtime we sang her happy birthday then played pass the parcel, I opened a layer and found a packet of Tiny Teddy bikkies. YUM

Sensory

 i enjoyed making scented salt dough in sensory today. I added rose oil to mine as it smelt like flowers. Very relaxing. 

Flowers 💐

 Today I wrapped beautiful flowers up in ribbons. I am excited to be bringing them home 🏠 

Crescent Moon

I am working on a beautiful crescent moon for my IPP board, I am making a string of crystal beads to decorate it.

Group BBQ at Tye park

 I had a blast at Tye Park today. We played games and had a sausage sizzle. My favourite part was a walk around the park and a sausage!

The waterfront

Wednesday was such a lovely sunny day we decided to go to the strand waterfront. We walked along the waterfront to the fountain. I didn’t want to put my hands in the water but I enjoyed sitting in the sun water my friends touch the water.

Garden Art

I made a wall hanging in garden art using salt dough and flowers.

I am working on an apron in my sewing sessions. I am really excited about making one.

Lockdown bread.

This morning we have cooking and I am using a super special ingredient to make Lockdown bread. It’s Beer!! The bubbles make the air extra fluffy and light, and I am sure it will taste amazing too

Napkin folding

I enjoyed folding napkins today during girls group.

Today in cooking session I learnt about recycling mutton fat to make a bird feeder food using up some old sunflower and pumpkin seeds.

The fat smelled a bit woofy but I know the birds will love it.

 I am having my nails painted and some lip gloss put on today during girls group. I also put some perfume on.

A strange visitor to th Arohanui garden

I was walking in the garden with my friends and came across a gnome with and passport! It's a mystery who left it there!
